Job Description
African Steel Mills is actively seeking a talented Wireless Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our wireless network infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on radio frequency (RF) technologies. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Wi-Fi devices, antennas, and familiarity with brands such as Mikrotik and Mimosa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain wireless links utilizing Mikrotik and Mimosa equipment.
- Conduct RF site surveys to optimize overall signal performance.
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi routers and associated hardware.
- Ensure the stability and reliability of the network.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in wireless networking.
- Certification in relevant technologies is a plus.
