Job Description/Requirements
To ensure the company’s financial stability and liquidity through effective cash management, strong banking relationships, risk mitigation, and compliance with financial regulations, while driving operational efficiency within treasury operations.
Responsibilities
Cash Management
- Monitor daily cash positions and maintain sufficient liquidity.
- Forecast cash flow and optimize idle fund usage.
- Reconcile bank charges and interest calculations.
Banking Relationships
- Manage and strengthen relationships with banks and financial partners.
- Negotiate terms for loans, credit lines, and banking services.
Compliance & Risk
- Ensure treasury activities comply with internal policies and external financial regulations.
- Identify and mitigate treasury-related financial risks.
Reporting & Analysis
- Provide regular reports on cash positions, forecasts, and risk assessments to senior management.
- Analyze financial data to support strategic business decisions.
Policy Development
- Design and implement treasury policies and procedures.
- Stay current with market and regulatory changes affecting treasury operations.
Supporting other treasury team members during absences and handling additional ad-hoc responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Advanced degree or certifications (CFA, CTP) are an added advantage.
- 5–7 years of treasury experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and discretion with sensitive information.
- Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
