Job Description
Global Connect is in search of a dedicated Tally Clerk to become an integral part of our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for meticulously examining, counting, and recording both incoming and outgoing cargo at the Terminal. This position entails calculating fees related to storage, damages, shipping, and receiving.
Education & Experience:
– A minimum of OND/NCE in Statistics, Accounting, Business, or Management is preferred.
– At least 2 years of experience in Cargo Tally Operations or a related field.
Required Skills:
– Physically fit, with the ability to lift and stand for extended periods.
– Detail-oriented with strong numerical skills.
– Basic understanding of port operations and safety regulations.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in both written and spoken English.
