Job Description
The School Nurse delivers primary healthcare to students, staff, and visitors, promoting a safe, healthy school environment in accordance with Nigerian healthcare standards and school policies.
- Provide first aid, emergency triage, and referrals; manage minor injuries and illnesses.
- Assess and monitor chronic conditions, develop individual health plans with guardians and providers.
- Administer medications with consent, maintain secure medication storage and accurate health records.
- Conduct routine screenings (vision, hearing, growth/BMI), coordinate vaccination efforts, and deliver health education.
- Maintain incident reports, train staff in basic first aid, and advise leadership on health and safety compliance.
Qualifications: Registered Nurse (NMCN) with current license, minimum 3 years’ experience; CPR/first-aid certification preferred. Full-time, permanent. Salary: ₦100,00–₦120,00/month.
