Job Description
The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) is currently seeking a qualified and proactive Research Supervisor for a renewable one-year contract position based in Kano. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support nutrient omission trials and site-specific nutrient management.
- Assist in soil sampling and digital soil mapping across Northern Nigeria.
- Provide training in climate-smart agricultural practices.
- Ensure precise data recording and thorough trial documentation.
- Collect farmer feedback to enhance research initiatives.
