Job summary
We are looking to hire a Recovery & Collections Officer to join our team.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage due, overdue, and defaulted loan accounts to ensure effective recovery and collections.
- Contact customers via calls, SMS, emails, and approved digital channels to collect repayments.
- Negotiate repayment plans, settlements, and payment commitments with customers.
- Monitor assigned loan portfolios and track collection performance.
- Conduct skip tracing and follow up on unreachable customers when required.
- Update customer repayment status and recovery actions accurately on the loan management system.
- Escalate delinquent or high-risk accounts for legal or advanced recovery action.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly recovery and collections performance reports.
- Work closely with credit, risk, and operations teams to minimize loan defaults.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of loan recovery, collections, and credit management processes.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet recovery and collection targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan management systems.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Must own a smartphone (Android or iPhone).

- Bonuses: Daily bonus and weekly bonus (up to ₦20,00 weekly)
