Job Description
Are you dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives? If you have exceptional skills and a keen eye for detail, the Western Cape Blood Service (WCBS) invites you to be part of our team! We have a permanent opening for a Phlebotomist at our Long Street Blood Donation Center (BDC) (Grade B5).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting donor screenings
- Executing phlebotomy procedures
- Supporting clinic reception and blood collection efforts
Minimum Requirements: A Grade 12 Certificate, a Phlebotomy Techniques Certificate, 1-2 years of relevant experience, registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa, and a Code 08 driver’s license.
