Job Description
St. Luke’s Hospital in Asaba, Delta, invites applications for a full-time Optometrist to join our eye care team. Reporting to the Chief Medical Director and collaborating with the Consultant Ophthalmologist, the successful candidate will perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnostic testing, prescribe and fit corrective lenses, provide patient education, support vision therapy, supervise clinical activities, and maintain accurate clinical records.
Requirements:
- O.D. degree and minimum 2 years post‑NYSC clinical experience
- Registration with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria and valid practicing license
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
- Proficiency with computers and strong clinical decision‑making
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Asaba
