Job Description
The MHPSS Officer will design and deliver mental health and psychosocial support programs, conduct assessments, provide individual and group support, and refer complex cases for specialized care. The role includes case management, staff capacity building, community outreach, partner coordination, and monitoring and reporting to maintain quality and accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of MHPSS experience in humanitarian or clinical settings
- Familiarity with IASC MHPSS guidelines; strong communication, cultural sensitivity, and documentation skills
- Able to work under pressure and travel to field sites; fluent in English (local language skills preferred)
