Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Managing Editor to lead our vibrant newsroom in Lagos. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent editorial judgment and possess strong leadership abilities to ensure journalistic quality while driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all print and digital editorial operations.
- Uphold high editorial standards and meet strict deadlines.
- Create revenue-generating content initiatives.
- Streamline workflows for enhanced efficiency.
- Mentor and manage editorial staff.
- Coordinate coverage of breaking news.
Salary: ₦350,00/month + performance bonus
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite/week, with on-call availability)
Minimum of 5 years of newsroom leadership experience is required.
