Job Description
We seek a reliable Kitchen Assistant to support chefs and cooks in a fast-paced commercial kitchen. Duties include preparing ingredients, washing and chopping vegetables, portioning and plating, dishwashing, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The role requires adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols, assistance during service, and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights. Candidates must be punctual, team-oriented, and able to follow instructions. Prior kitchen or food-handling experience and food safety certification are preferred. Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
