Job Description
The Changeroom is on the lookout for an accomplished Head of Underwriting to oversee and direct all underwriting operations at our Lagos office. The successful candidate will have a robust background in accounting or finance, demonstrating expertise in risk assessment, claims evaluation, and premium calculations in the financial services industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of underwriting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Professional certifications such as ICAN or CIIA are required.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication abilities to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Thorough understanding of local financial regulations and compliance standards.
