Job Description
The Nigerian Air Force Microfinance Bank is seeking a reliable driver who will be responsible for the Bank’s vehicle maintenance and transportation of staff as required
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles to pick up or drop employees as needed and strictly for business purposes
- Must monitor expiration and renewal of his driver’s license and vehicle papers without causing any inconvenience to the company’s schedule
- Ensure that assigned vehicles are always in clean and good condition. Necessary maintenance including washing and /or cleaning of vehicles shall be done and scheduled properly for the convenience of staff
- Responsible for the routine check-up of the vehicles such as motor oils, brake function, water, lights and tyres. Ensure that vehicles are always fuelled and ready for use
- Assist with administrative needs such as like office pickups and deliveries
- Observe strict company rules, regulations, policies and directives.
- Must strictly observe Traffic Rules and Regulation and maximum speed limit as prescribed by the National Road Traffic Regulation & the FCT traffic law
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE qualification
- At least 3 years’ experience in a structured organization and at least 4 years driving experience and knowledge of the FCT road network
- Must possess a valid drivers’ license
- Ability to read and communicate professionally in English Language
- Clear understanding of traffic rules and regulations
- High sense of responsibility, accountability and punctuality
- Must have a working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems
- High level of integrity and responsibility
