Job Description
The Building Company is seeking a skilled Database Administrator. Key responsibilities include managing SQL servers and databases in development and production environments, optimizing database server performance, and performing scheduled maintenance and upgrades. Candidates will refine processes, monitor environments proactively, write reports on SQL scripting, and facilitate bug resolution with third parties. Strong customer service skills are essential for supporting critical production systems.
Qualifications include:
- Grade 12
- MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014 or later
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with SQL databases
- Experience with performance tuning and monitoring
- Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous
