Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Lead Climate Adaptation Manager to spearhead development and implementation of adaptation strategies that reduce vulnerability and enhance resilience across programs. The role includes managing climate risk assessments, designing nature-based and engineered interventions, and coordinating multi-sector stakeholder engagement to ensure integrated, evidence-based outcomes.
- Responsibilities: lead strategy design and execution, oversee grants, and manage monitoring & evaluation to inform adaptive programming.
- Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in climate adaptation, proven leadership, grant management, M&E expertise, and excellent communication skills. Advanced degree in climate science, environmental planning, or a related field preferred. Ability to translate science into policy and actionable programs required.
