Job Description
The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) is inviting applications for a Skilled Carpenter position. This is a 6-month renewable contract based in Ibadan, Oyo State. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, a Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), and a Trade Test certificate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for woodworking in the carpentry workshop, operating wood saw machines, executing roofing repairs, and ensuring that wood surfaces are smooth and ready for delivery. Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
