Job Summary:
TGM Education is seeking a results-driven and proactive Business Development Officer to join our team in Kano. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting our international education services within the region. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence, driving student enrollments, and contributing to the growth of the Kano branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote TGM Education’s study abroad services to prospective students, parents, and schools in Kano and surrounding areas.
- Generate leads and follow up with inquiries through calls, emails, and in-person consultations.
- Organize and participate in school visits, educational fairs, roadshows, and other marketing events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local institutions, stakeholders, and student groups.
- Develop and execute local marketing strategies to meet branch targets.
- Manage and update the student database, track leads and conversions using CRM tools.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about partner universities, application procedures, and visa processes.
- Work closely with the Applications and Counseling teams to ensure a smooth student journey from inquiry to enrollment.
- Prepare weekly reports and contribute to monthly performance reviews.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to create region-specific promotional content.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years experience in business development, sales, or student recruitment (preferably in the education sector).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Must be tech-savvy and comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Good knowledge of the Kano region and fluency in Hausa is an added advantage.
- Passion for education, youth development, and global mobility.
