Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to manage all laundry-related tasks efficiently and hygienically. The ideal candidate will ensure clothing, linens, and fabrics are properly cleaned, dried, pressed, and organized while maintaining high standards of care and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements

Wash, dry, and fold clothes, linens, and other fabrics

Iron, press, and steam garments as needed

Handle delicate and specialty fabrics with proper care

Inspect items for stains or damage and apply appropriate treatment

Maintain cleanliness of laundry area, machines, and tools

Track laundry inventory and ensure items are returned correctly

Follow hygiene, safety, and fabric-care guidelines

Report damaged items or equipment issues promptly

Requirements & Qualifications

Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred

Knowledge of fabric care, stain removal, and ironing techniques

Ability to operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment

Attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Physically able to lift, stand, and perform repetitive tasks

Honest, reliable, and respectful of privacy
