Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
- Prepare, process, and record financial transactions (payments, receipts, invoices).
- Maintain proper accounting records, ledgers, and documentation.
- Monitor daily cash flow and bank transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Reporting & Documentation
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support budget preparation and expense monitoring.
- Maintain up-to-date financial files and records.
- Provide financial data and schedules for audits.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
- Assist in statutory deductions and remittances (PAYE, VAT, WHT, pension).
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure proper authorization of all financial transactions.
Support & Coordination
- Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal departments on financial matters.
- Assist senior accountants or finance managers as required.
- Support payroll preparation and documentation (where applicable).
