Job Description
Uptown Farms seeks a permanent Agronomist to optimize crop production through soil analysis, plant science, and sustainable field management. The role combines research, diagnostics, and farmer advisory work to enhance yield, profitability, and environmental stewardship.
- Analyze soil composition (pH, nutrients, organic matter) and design fertilization and conservation plans
- Apply plant biology and genetics to optimize planting, cultivation, and harvesting
- Diagnose and treat pests, diseases (e.g., mildew), and nutrient deficiencies
- Lead R&D trials and consult on water management, erosion control, and pollution reduction
Job Type: Permanent. Pay: ₦80,00–₦100,00 per month.
