Job Description
HEDA Resource Centre is actively seeking a committed Account Officer to oversee and protect our financial assets. This full-time role, based in Lagos, involves ensuring precise financial reporting and adherence to both donor and statutory regulations, thereby playing a vital role in advancing HEDA’s mission.
Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include maintaining financial records, preparing budgets, managing project funds, handling taxation, conducting financial analysis, overseeing payroll, supporting audits, and collaborating with various departments.
Requirements: Candidates should possess a B.Sc. in Accounting or Finance (ICAN/ACCA preferred), along with 3-5 years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of GAAP, proficiency in QuickBooks, and a dedication to integrity and meeting deadlines are essential.
