Job Description
The Agricultural Research Council is excited to announce an opening for an Insect Ecology Research Assistant. This role involves critical responsibilities such as assisting with the mass-rearing of host insects, conducting essential field surveys, collecting valuable data, and participating in laboratory bioassay screening trials.
Qualified candidates should possess at least a Grade 12 education or equivalent, with a Diploma in Plant Protection or Plant Production preferred. Experience in insect rearing is highly advantageous. Additionally, candidates must have basic computer skills, demonstrate proficiency in teamwork, and possess a valid driver’s license (08/EB).
