Job Description
The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture is seeking qualified Nigerian nationals for the position of Senior Plant Operator at its Headquarters in Ibadan.
Contract: 3-year renewable contract
Location: Ibadan
Closing Date: 29 November 2024
Duties:
- Operate central air-conditioner chiller on a rotational night/day shift.
- Perform periodic maintenance of chillers.
- Carry out repairs on cooling towers and chiller pumps.
- Maintain the large walk-in air handling unit.
- Assist in installation and repair of air conditioning systems.
Qualifications: National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a minimum of four years’ experience.
Competencies: Excellent communication skills, ability to read engineering drawings, and proficient with workshop equipment.
