Job Summary: JobCanvas Career Solutions is currently seeking a qualified Commercial Broiler Farm Officer to lead broiler farming operations. The successful candidate will ensure optimal production efficiency by managing farming activities, maintaining assets, supervising staff, and enforcing safety and biosecurity protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee broiler operations to achieve seven production cycles annually.
- Ensure an average bird weight of 2kg is attained within 4.5 weeks.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) on the farm.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Animal Science or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in poultry farming.
- Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.
